Divorce - help needed!

As the title says, I'm seeking advice on divorce in NI. There's not a lot of advice on the process here compared with England and Wales.
The OH and I have agreed to divorce - it won't be contested, so we should be able to do it without solicitors.
We have no children and don't own a house, so it should all be straightforward (I hope!).
HOWEVER, he has suggested that we should have a financial agreement in place. I'm in favour of that, and we've agreed that we want to have no claims on each other at any time in the future. Can anyone suggest the best (and cheapest) way of doing this?
Solicitor?
Court order?
Do we need to have a financial agreement in place before the divorce petition is submitted?
Thanks in advance.
Here's my previous thread on making a will, I was grateful for the help given to me at that time

Don't know about NI.
In the UK you can do it amicably, without an agreement, and without a lawyer. However it is advisable to include a "Consent Order" in the submission; it depends how honest you think the other person is.0 -
It might be possible to have it done within the divorce process itself as their are no children involved and no house to split. You need a bit in it that says that from the date of the decree absolute neither of you have any financial claim upon the other.
Do solicitors give free half hour appointments in NI? Have a look at wikivorce if you haven't already.0 -
When I needed them, there were lots of resources online. And that was pre-wiki I think!

Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
