ripening peppers?

hi quick question,
my peppers are a decent size to pick and id like to pick them in order to try and encourage more to grow. but i would also like them to turn from green to red, do they need to be left on the plant for this to happen?
If they are a dark glossy green they are ready for picking (cut off plant with a knife to protect the plant). The peppers will gradually turn green over 2 to 4 weeks! Nb you can free them - wash, quarter, blanch and dry, then freeze!!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -
thanks i will try and be patient, and just hope the weather improves to help the process along.Word for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗0
