Listed another couple of things, got watchers on two items now. Hope I get a bidding war! That would be good but no bids yet on anything. Fingers crossed as I just got a big unexpected bill this morning so could do with £600 sharpish (not that my ebay items are going to make that even with a bidding war.)

  • Congratulations to all sellers:beer:

Sorry haven't been on to post much lately but am inching very slowly towards the finishing post.

My Amazon book sales have started picking up again at long last, must be the longer evenings, and I've already received payment of £16.25 net. £19.10 still to come for books already mailed out but won't add that to total yet.

Sold a few cheapie bits on eBay at the weekend using my free listings (just the regular 20 per month ones, I never get the 100 free ones :(). Made £27.20 after fees and postage etc.

That's £43.45 to add, taking me up to £1445.92. That's only £54.08 to go so all being well I'll manage it.

Never thought when I set out on this challenge that I'd get anywhere near succeeding. Thanks everyone for your motivation and inspiration:A

Well, I've done it:j. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd get to £1500 and it looks as if I might do a bit better than that before the year's out.

Thanks to everyone on here for the motivation:T. Your efforts and successes have given me the kick up the backside that I needed. Anyone still soldiering on to their targets, keep at it and the best of luck:beer:

I listed 20 things on eBay to end last night and although they didn't all sell I'm pleased to see the back of them and make £54.15 after fees etc, Nice and easy to wrap and post so they've all gone to their new homes now:j

Also received £19.10 from books I sold on Amazon. Readers are spending again now, my sales really dried up during the summer, so I must try to find some more to list. Have already posted 3 more and expect payment by end of week but not declaring it in this latest total of £73.25

So total for year is now £1519.17_party_:dance:

My auctions all ended and another £60 in the pot so almost three quarters of the way there, considering I started late I am happy with that. Two items didn't sell so will have to think about what to do with them.

    Evening all :)

Current position for me to date is: Net sales £855.27/ £1500 / Children's items sold £405.59

Am still hoping to get to combined figure of min £1500 by the year end - about £240 to go. Have sent off £75 of stuff to Ziffit in the last week, so will wait for their agreement before adding it to my figs. Small amounts trickling in from ebay every now and then, but nothing to get excited about - still, they do eventually add up to get me closer to target, I guess!

Have a nearly new sale happening in Oct, for which all my stuff is already priced. Am hoping for at least £100 from it after commission, which will then be split between myself and the children (they get the money from the sale of their books and toys, I get clothes and equipment sales) Hopefully the remainder will happen from ebaying between now and Xmas (with maybe even a bit more from the nns if I'm lucky!!- although I've priced it to sell, as I don't really want it back! :D)

People seem to be doing really well :)

  • I managed £41 this month - I must make more effort.

I got fed up with some smaller items and things not selling so they went to the charity shop instead! Goodluck for October everyone.
