I need to declutter my house AND find some more money from somewhere, so this seems like a good challenge for me to join. No idea what I might make, so I'll sign up for the £1,000 and keep my fingers crossed I can revise it upwards during the year :)

I'm not going to have time to make a start on this until January, and even if I did I'm not sure that now's the best time to try selling. So I'll run the challenge through the 2015 calendar year, probably with a slow start while I dig stuff out and take pics/pull together listing details. I also plan to do most (if not all) on eB@y, so will be watching for free listing days (if they still do those?)

  • It's currently the first 20 items per month are free to list no matter the price.

I've made my own challenge board to make sure I take advantage of the free listings, a little quiet on there at the moment but will storm it in January and hopefully more will join in :)
    January 2025 - Debt £20,006
  • Have taken some pics of things that, come mid January, I intend to list on an online auction site. I also aim to make money from other kinds of sales in the first few months of 2015. Currently I have made zilch.

  • Hi all,

Would love to join this challenge. I actually sold loads and loads last year pre-buying my flat so I'm short on majoy things to sell. I do still have some vintage clothing I would love to sell and I know that when I move in I'm sure to find a load of items which don't fit. I'd also like to start crafting again so if I really do run short this might be a good push to start making :)

  • Can I join please:) We are hopefully buying a house this year and it will be smaller than what we rent to need to get rid of some things anyway! I won't start until the new year.
