parking charge notice & northampton county court

Hi,
We received a parking notice issued by Civil Enforcement Limited for the 11th August 2012. Apparently the driver of my husband's car entered the Co-op Car park at 13.01 and left at 15.48.
We've received various notice from Civil Enforcement Limited and their agents and as suggested on these forum have ignored them. However, last week we received a Claim Form from Northampton County Court demanding payment of £130.00 + £35 court fee + £50 solicitors costs totalling £215.00. The name on the form is Debt Enforcement and Action Limited.
I'm not sure about what to do with this. I'm worried about ignoring it as we don't want a CCJ.
Could someone offer some advice please.
Thank you.

Once upon a time indeed ignore was the advice, but no longer.
Is it a real court letter?0 -
Please just search the forum for DEAL* as we can't repeat this advice every few days on every new thread. Also please read post #5 of the NEWBIES thread which covers small claims, with links to current stuff about CEL claims. No-one ever pays nor gets a CCJ from DEAL/CEL, when we help.
*Use the FORUM JUMP to get back to page one then above the sticky threads (one of which you need to read, the Newbies thread!) on the right are headings 'forum tools' and next to it, 'search this forum'. PUT IN 'DEAL'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ignoring has not been advised here for a very long time - Except in Scotland and NI. The law changed in 2012 - Long before August this year!
You need to start by reading the up to date advice in the Newbies Sticky and pay particular attention to Post 5.0 -
Pogofish this was 2012, so before even the POFA and keeper liability.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Duh! Head full of dentist. Thanks.
Even better then - check the veracity of these court papers before going any further.0 -
Thank you. I'll check out that post on the Newbies thread.0

And all the other CEL DEAL cases on here, not just on page one. Read LOADS, be informed and join all the others - no-one loses, no-one pays, but you must treat it seriously.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
