Long term rent to family agreement

My parents have left the country to retire for up to 20 years.
I need a long term renting agreement form that is free.
I don't even need all the legal parts that most of these contain.
This is purely for my parents to prove they have an income and also for my Brother's Fiancee who has had a baby and needs this so she can claim for being off work with a baby.
Please help if possible, thanks.

Not quite sure what your post means.
Are you renting out your parent's house to your brother and need a rental agreement?
What proof does your brother's fiancee need? To claim a benefit?
Please give us some more details.0 -
Sorry, I'm posting on behalf of my parents and my brother.
But basically need a somewhat simple rental agreement for both parties to sign.
I will have to answer the benefit question later as she is still in hospital.
But I have a feeling it's for evidence to say how much they pay for rent. Normally there would be an agreement or a mortgage of which you have ample evidence of paying X per month.
And this would be used as proof when claiming some benefit while on maternity leave.0 -
Your parents should join a Landlords Association. There they will be able to access tenancy agreements and get advice on becoming landlords as the tenancy agreement is just the tip of the iceberg.
As they are planning on letting the property to family it may already look like a contrived tenancy to the council which is a problem if your brother's fianc! is looking to claim benefits. This makes it all the more important to dot the i's and cross the t's correctly.0 -
So your brother and his financee is renting a house from your parents who have retired abroad?
And they wish to claim housing benefit? (I'm guessing this as they seem to need a rental agreement)
If this is the situation then it is not going to be as easy as getting a 'simple' rental agreement with out all the legal bits.
For your brother and partner to claim HB your parents have to prove that they are not setting up a 'contrived tenancy agreement' in order to obtain housing benefit.
Have your parents rented out before to anyone else?
At the very least I would suggest that your parents get a proper tenancy agreement (with all the legal bits) and they make sure that they act as proper landlords - getting a gas safety certificate, being prepared to evict them if they are late with rent or break their contract.
Sorry, this is complicated so find out first if it is housing benefit they are applying for and then come back and tell us the circumstances.0 -
Ok so it apparently is not for housing benefits.
I think ignore the part about my brother's partner just having a baby and needing this done for any reason.
So, this means it's just my parents for proof of income for something where they have retired to.0
