Thank you, I'm waiting for some

There has been some - did you miss it?
  • Thank you everyone, I have read the newbies thread, I am asking specific questions about walking off and taking photographs, these are not covered in the newbies thread nor is the recent change over from BPA to the IPC by UKCPS and the signage.

Walking off = breaking t&c. As does overstaying, parking out of box. Therefore when told to look on newbies thread, that is relevant.

Demand a POPLA code as per their signs - can't do any harm and include photo in your appeal (of the sign)

Look up vcs -v- ibbotson on google and you may want to use some quotes in your initial appeal.

Of course, their operative missed the 3rd passenger who stayed on site.

    Walking off.

PPCs have a duty to mitigate loss, in VCS v Ibbotson, Judge McIlwaine heavily criticized then for not doing so, read the transcript here

You don't need to go into what happened - the Newbies thread tells you that the story of what happened is irrelevant. that's why nothing is on there about the circumstances, who cares about the circumstances unless one or more of the passengers stayed on site and shopped, in which case add that to the appeal yourself (without saying who was driving). But only when the NTK arrives in a month or so.

Why would I mention in the Newbies thread who is in the IPC and who isn't, seeing as it changes every month? People can check their own PPC and then read the appropriate advice which I do give in post #3 about either POPLA or the IAS (in your case the latter, if you bother to try IAS which we would probably say DON'T...).

I do hope you haven't gone and phoned them up (their HQ is by all accounts, a caravan behind a pub in Leeds which was shown on 'The Sheriffs are Coming' on TV!) and expected a decent conversation with Peter Haswell or Steven Hall? Please don't ring them, don't even think about it, they will wind you up and they may even get you to say who was driving which would be daft.

Just follow the tried & tested advice in the NEWBIES thread and wait for the Notice to keeper in the post as per usual. The IAS stage appeal might not be worth bothering with IMHO, but the Newbies thread tells you that as well.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
