Am I too late to appeal?

Hi,
I parked in a permit pay (as they are right outside an ATM machine) for about 30 seconds to withdraw money. I parked on the 28/10/2014 and had the letter on the 30/10/2014. The car is a company car.

I've been reading the threads for newbies but am I too late to appeal? The charge is now £100 and I'm not sure if I can even appeal anymore, especially it being a company car...

I'm more than happy to spend £16 on www parkingticketappeals org uk/but is this a guarantee even though I am a bit late on the appeal? I'm finding all this information confusing so would like to just pay the £16 and get it over with.

Thanks,
David

Post one of the Newbies Sticky deals with this and as its a company car, you could have the option to reset the clock as far as POPLA goes and/or submit a strong complaint to the landowner. Plenty you can still do. :)
  • hi thanks for the reply. I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what the newbies sticky deals are?

There are no "deals" pogofish meant that post number one of the newbies sticky is the post that deals with this issue.

Just appeal anyway and beware of firms that have changed hands:

Which PPC is this PCN from? Just appeal late anyway using the example first appeal in the NEWBIES thread. Send it by email/online to the PPC if the PCN allows, if not send it ordinary 1st class post (NOT SIGNED FOR!). Just take your letter to the PO counter and ask for a free certificate of posting.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
