RK but not driver. Informed issuer of actual driver but they're still writing to me.

Or you could ignore them, and if they take you to court bloody their nose for them. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I've just received a letter from 'Debt recovery Plus Ltd'.
Content is how to pay and if you don't pay ( paragraph entitled "What if you don't pay what you owe" nothing about not paying what I don't owe! ) they'll recommend court action yada yada.
I'm in the process of writing to the IPC but a part of me would enjoy seeing these muppets pay to go to court only to find out they've taken action against the wrong person!0 -
Two developments.
First a reply from the IPC essentially saying they're not interested as I should be complaining to pcn. Huh? If this goes to court ( as I suspect it will now ) the correspondence with IPC will form part of the information pack and I shall make a point of telling the judge that I consider the IPC to be just as responsible for wasting his/her time as pcn.
I've also had a follow up letter from DRP saying they will instruct a solicitor to initiate court proceedings if I don't pay by the 6th Feb. I wonder if this solicitor, when reading my disclosure documents, will exhibit as low an English reading comprehension level as pcn and the IPC0 -
Just ignore DRP, really not worth bothering about. Search the forum for Zenith as a keyword to read about this tedious letter chain.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sadly, DRP are usually bluffing about court.
I'm wondering if a letter of complaint to the DVLA, with intentions to escalate to the ICO, regarding the abuse of Registered Keeper data might be an idea.
It depends how keen you are to try and drop PCM in the poo. If you haven't got the time/inclination then simply carry on ignoring as advised.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
That is a bit of a shame. I'd enjoy hearing a judge wipe the floor with a pcn representative about wasting court's time
In some ways it is for the best though as by giving up on me it'll let my son off hook.
Good idea re DVLA. I'll get that done.0 -
Sue or ignore, up to you. Personally I would involve a solicitor, cease and desist, harassment, injunctions, undertakings, etc., etc., etc., and bill them for you trouble.
You might have to Roger them,

but they are on very very dodgy ground and would probably settle before it got to court. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
