iPad screen protection and cases

Hi just got an iPad air2 and want to know if I should buy a screen protector and any recommendations on a good case? I have seen glass screen protectors or the ones you stick on. I haven't seen any from Apple do they not recommend or sell them?
Thanks
Thanks

A screen protector isn't really necessary. I didn't bother with one as I'd heard some people had problems with them making the touchscreen less responsive. The stick on ones are also really fiddly to apply without getting air bubbles under it. The iPad screen is designed to repel fingerprints etc, it just needs a wipe with a soft cloth.
For a cover, the ones with an 'auto-lock' feature are very handy as it saves you having to remember to lock it each time. It helps save battery power.0 -
