Been ringing my BF's mobile since Saturday all I keep getting is "the mobile phone you are calling is not available ". It doesn't even offer me to leavea message or press 1 to let him know I called. I have no other numbers for him and no we didn't argue. I'm wondering is that message if someone's been cut off?

People get the same message when calling me if I happen to be in an area where there is no service.
As for the answerphone, does he have it enabled?Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car

No, it's just out of range or switched off.
If it was cut off the message would be the number you are calling is not recognised.0 -

Perhaps because the phone's battery would become discharged without anybody to charge it?0 -
With the phone off it should go to answer phone, you get the "not available" if it's been cut off or it's outside the UK.
This probably doesn't really help though.......“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Must be something wrong with mine then, people only get the not available message if I switch it off. If I take it abroad, they get to hear the ringtone of the country I'm in (assuming it is switched on and in a service area).Strider590 wrote: »you get the "not available" if it's been cut off or it's outside the UK.
If the handset has been cut off, you get the disconnected tone
