My goal for today is to clean the downstairs of our house, and then make at least one Christmas present - cinnamon salt dough fridge magnets for my Secret Santa gift
I have all the ingredients and necessary parts for it so no excuses.

Me again...
I need to make a star for my xmas tree so I was browsing the web and landed on some salt dough recipes. I'm all excited because I've been looking for a little pressie for DD and SIL...I'm thinking of making up some dough and making an imprint of GD's hand when she comes over next week.
Does this sound okay? Haven't used salt dough for 30 years!
Another one urging Camelot to stay strong-I so love Ikea!

I have come for some curtains for the front door, here is the cheapest place to get them as it's such a long drop(window above door). I will not be tempted by anything else I might see, in fact I will not even look. I will keep saying this as I go.
Wish me luck!
Stay strong Camelot. Remember the only thing you NEED are the curtains, the rest is wants and wants are being sold to you by the ad men
Just keep your eyes glued to the floor arrows until you get to the curtains0 -

Right, I am home! I bought the curtains, thermal linings, curtain pole and fixings and ......... damn in I bought material to hem round for a new table cloth. I have 2 table cloths already but a friend spilt a glass of red wine on one so it is a little stained. I figured this is better than buying an actual ready made cloth which is quite expensive as I need 3m.
Anyway, this is better than it has been in the past, I shall not spend any more today at least as I will be hemming and putting the curtains up.
Not good I know, but it's a start and feeling quite pleased with myself.0 -
Have a huge box for the charity chop, hopefully DS2 will call by and take it for me, its all things from the kitchen that are immaculate but not needed. Was very pleased to find in the coffee, tea, and sugar canisters that I decided to throw were full of rice, popping corn and fire lighters. You would of thought it was christmas already with that golden find!
I'm not sure if the CS will accept knives, I have 2 (yes, I don't know either) knife blocks with knives an electric knife that is never used and some odd knives etc. I know some shops can have rules on items like this, if not I am uncertain what to do with them.0 -
