Newbie with New PCN from F1srt Paking

Hi
Please see the attached PCN to the keeper I''ve received sent exactly 26 days after the issue of the ticket. I'm assuming it's the result of ANPR as no ticket has been seen.

I've read through the forum quite extensively and just want to be sure which letter I need to send first. Any help gratefully appreciated. Thank you.

You need to read the Newbies Sticky, carefully.
  • Very carefully. The NTK isn't valid, and the F1rst NtD isn't either.

How about putting the keyword 'F1rst' into 'search this forum' above the sticky threads as well after you have read the NEWBIES thread? To get there, use the FORUM JUMP on the right if you don't know how to get back from here to page one otherwise. We have had 2 or 3 F1rst threads in recent weeks and I have showed a poster last month in a Bath Uni thread, what is non-compliant about their NTK letter. They are nothing special and easy to beat at POPLA using the advice in the sticky thread.

  • Thank you Coupon-mad thats very helpful and have now read that thread in detail too and prepared my letter.

On a point of interest, the NtK I received was addressed to 'Other Fred Bloggs' as opposed to having any correct form of title or no title before my name. As a point of order, can I therefore assume it was meant for the 'Other' Fred Bloggs and not indeed this Fred Bloggs.

    Thank you

NO, that won't help, it's just amusing and sums up their incompetence.

    Hi
Sent appeal letter to F1rst Parking 18 days after issue date of Ntk. (appeals to be received within 28 days). No response yet but now received Demand for Payment from DRP Ltd so this demand has been sent before the 28 day appeal period expired.

Having read all the advices I am to ignore this. Do I now just wait for the response from F1rst parking so i can then send the POPLA appeal.

(ps I had earlier assumed it was an ANPR but it seems there was a windscreen ticket)
    Thank you

You do wait, but should also complain to the BPA by email about this as it is a breach of the Code of Practice, can get sanction points for the PPC (puts them on the naughty step)! Get your own back and complain by email, just a couple of lines to Steve Clark at the BPA with a copy of the DRP letter and proof that you appealed, i.e. a copy of your appeal and proof of posting if you have that too.

email addy in post #6 of the NEWBIES thread.

  • Hi
Have still had no response to my appeal from F1rst Parking, but have now received Notice of Intended Court Action from DRP.

Emailed complaint to BPA and to DVLA (ccrt) on 21st December, had acknowledgement from BPA that they will look into it.

Do I still continue ignore the the DRP letter and wait for responses.

    Thank you
