I just wanted to start a thread for those that have been successful at getting.PIP.
There's a lot of people out there worrying, so thought it might help cheer people up if they see that you can get a PIP grant. I'm happy to state my medical problems, so to give people with similar or the same problems as me, that the system does work on occasions, and when it doesn't appeal!
I have been awarded standard care and enhanced mobility. I have multiple medical problems; Asthma, Hiatcus Hernia (7cm), GERD, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Degenerative dis disease in my spine, Facet joint syndrome with multiple bone spurs causing sciatica and pressing into my spinal column causing my legs to give way. Grade 4 osteoarthritis in both my knees, Anaemia, b12 deficiency (requiring injections), and peripheral neuropathy.
I am still working, and get help from Access to Work.
It would be interesting to see others who've succeeded if you want to share.:A

Everything I know, I've learned from Judge Judy.

PIP is not awarded based on your conditions/diagnosis. It's based on how your condition affects you daily. If anyone has problems with daily life for E.G. Need help cooking, preparing food, washing, dressing, going out, walking etc. If anyone needs help or support daily then they could be entitled to PIP. Everyone's conditions affect people differently and you can't compare 2 people. If 2 people have the same conditions/diagnosis, 1 person maybe awarded PIP and the other may not be awarded it.0
