If you put savings on your card at the till along with your shopping (this will increase your total bill) and then you use coupons you can get a bigger saving by the time you have £144 on your savings card you could have used £44 in coupons, then when you spend your savings card at Christmas use coupons again its just like free shopping ;););)

Its easy have a savings card, you put money on each week till the end of the year then you spend it, o k if you spend £40 on grocery and put £10 on your card your total bill is now £50 so you can use more coupons, then when your card has £150 on at the end of the year and you start to spend it say £50 one week and £30 another time you hand in coupons again you are in fact actualy using coupons twice, try it I can asure you it works. :j :j :j

Why not put £144 on several cards on the last day of the deadline and get £6 the next day its about 4% interest free.

I think the problem some of us are having is working out what coupons you are on about (or is it just me?)

Hmmm, but say you put it on 3 cards, thats over £400. Unless you spend it quite quickly they have your money and although you've got 4% back your money isn't getting any interest after that. Mind you I suppose as long as you spend it within 4-6 months thats not a bad return.

if you think about it asda take a third of your bill in coupons so for £144 you can use £48 when you spend your card which will be £150 with the bonus on you can use £50 in coupons so you have only paid out £46 you won`t get better intrest anywhere dose anyone get the picture?

All the Asda stores I have been in what take coupons only take 10% off though. So £144 only uses £14 if they will do it. Better than nowt though.
