ParcelForce are still complicit in the issue. In fact if they hadn't scanned it incorrectly there would be no need for any middlemen.

I've used Parcelforce hundreds of times over the last few years and they are one of the worst to deal with if a delivery doesn't go smoothly. Luckily I can (and now have) choose not deal with them when I am sending. Unfortunately due to a couple of my US suppliers insisting on only using USPS, I have no such choice when receiving via Parcelforce.

All the courier companies make mistakes sometimes, but through my extensive use of most of them, Parcelforce have been one of the worst overall.

There are other middle men that IMO work well with Parcelforce.

Parcelhub work with Parcelforce and get good feedback on the Tamebay blog. Only for bulk shipments though:
