    Another UU:

5/296. Cussons Mum & Me Relax & Unwind Bubble Bath 50ml - repurposed as shower gel and did the job.
I have loads of bubble bath and never have baths, so was debating trying the same thing.

Then I realised how much shower gel (and bar soap) I have :rotfl:

Have instead decided I'm going to try and make myself have a bath as part of a pamper night (to also use up face masks and foot/leg potions) at least once a month.

How long I keep that up will depend on how much it shoves my (metered) water bill up by !!!

    Thanks for the thread, MADDIEMAY

I'm in again (well, probably kind of half in as, with a lack of an updated stash list I'm not taking this 100%)

Yesterday I uu lush penguin bubble bar, was ok, would prob buy again in sale

Today I've finished 50ml pot of EH moringa balm. HG and have a 200ml pot waiting to be opened
I've also uu lush Sakura bath bomb. I prefer bubble bars to bath bombs but do like one every now and then so WBA

No PP list or anything like that. Just a commitment to try not to buy toiletries and to stick to finishing what I've opened so it gets UU.

The only ins so far this month have been shaving gel which I don't stash and a pack of cotton pads which, again, I don't stash
No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 8

I have a uu from my shower this morning:

Boots Mango Body Scrub - this is one of the big tubs which come in the set with shower gel and body butter at Christmas. Would buy the set again but I don't buy body scrubs as individual items any more.

Window number 4 in my advent calendar was Essie Nail Polish in Lots of Lux.

I wondered if you lovely ladies could help me. For the Christmas period I'm thinking of paainting Green triangles on my nails to represent Christmas trees. Any Idea's what I can use to make guides on my nails so they are straight and painted in the right place. Hope that makes sense.

    Thank you

    How about tape?

Any particular type? Would need one that wouldn't pull off the base varnish colour

Right out of the blue, Bzz Agent have offered me some Dove ProAge Body Wash. Since shortly after our Aldi opened I have been offered nothing from Bzz Agent as I now shop there and not Tesco.
I definitely won't have to buy anything shower - related before the end of the year now.

dolly you are making me positively green - I WANT AN ADVENT CALENDAR!!! Yours sounds amazing. Instead I will just have to get my pleasure from creating empty gaps in my bathroom cupboard :p

cw18 I never would have thought of repurposing before joining this thread but now I do it all the time with bubble baths as I very rarely bathe (maybe a couple of times a year to use up any gifted bath bombs!) and would never have gotten through my many bottles otherwise. There really is no discernible difference. But yes, doesn't really help if you have tons of shower gels/soaps to use for the same purpose! Some of the thread veterans (I think sam.4000, maddiemay and mcculloch are the ones to ask) are amazing at finding all sorts of different uses for products.

SuiDreams how about using masking tape - tends not to be too sticky so your base coat should survive it, it's kinda designed not to oull paint off with it so same *should* apply to nail polish...? Otherwise, the guide tape you get in French manicure packs to do the tips perhaps? Good luck - sounds fun! Come back and show us some pics please if it works?
