in Credit cards
I have four credit cards i have recently cleared the balances and i was wondering which two to cancel
Capital one i have had for two years in december
Vanquis i have had for a year and 7 months this is one i am sure i am canceling
Aqua i have had 1 year and 5 months this is one that the intreast goes down 5% every year for first 3 years
Barclaycard intial i have had this a year now the bank told me that one would be the best to keep
now i was thinking capital one and aqua until the bank said barclaycard can anyone give me there opinion for keeping my credit report good and just in case of emergencies

Keep Capital One because it has the longest history, and Barclaycard because they may switch you to a better product if you manage it well.
Don't just keep them for emergencies though...use both cards every month (just essentials, ie supermarket shopping and fuel) and then clear the statement balances in full. This will have the best impact on your credit history/rating.0 -
agreed, no doubt: if you want to retain 2 of those 4 then Barclaycard and CapitalOne are the two to retain.0

I would contact Barclaycard to see if they will move you to their Freedom Reward card and use it for your shopping & fuel means you get something back from it.0

you can do that, and also i would speak to CapOne. however you can, try to get those two providers to give you account features which are of use to you: Cashback/Points on spending, Interest Free spending, a Balance Transfer deal...0
