Just as an aside we don't know the situation why you want to leave the parental home but if it's due to abuse or being forcibly made homeless then some charities may be able to provide some assistance.0

I would go for that last year ..
No Pain no gain and all that ..
This year might be a struggle, but a degree will pay itself back ..Stick to the plan ....If you want to do something else ..finish this task first.
Are you doing computer science ?0 -
It's extremely unlikely you'd be able to get housing benefit.

Why don't you just wait until you've finished university and have got a job somewhere before you move out. Even those under 35 are only entitled to a room in a shared house anyway, and you can almost guarantee that the benefit won't cover the full rent."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

I know its not the most appealing option, but its a step away from living at home and you do at least get some independence. Is there any chance of increasing the part time work to boost your income?
I do events work. So hours can be really awful sadly. However if I had a SIA license the company I work with would possibly happily give me SIA rate which is £8.50 an hour but still not enough hours and there's hardly any chance to get SIA rate shift work at match day events.0 -

I might actually follow your advice and stick it out. How did you know I'm studying computer science well the course is more practical based and involves programming, prototyping etc.0 -
Thank you guys for being nice though! I'm going through a really rough time at home. With parents divorcing and siblings (two brothers one sister) in general always giving me stick and my two brothers always finding excuses to beat me up yeah I'm 22 I hate fighting and they're 16/18 I've reported them to cops but their statements always obviously don't match up with what they say anyways. But I've put my foot down and mum agrees with me that I'm not going to stop my life just to put the pieces of life together for them. They can suffer. I know pretty much how to manage my finances and things.0
