As it is an advent your chances of finding a battery based on searching for the laptop model is slim to non existant. you need to search for the battery model itself as the laptop is a generic type that uses a generic battery.

I doubt it is a removeable battery from the outside, but maybe it is. You will need to remove the back (bottom) panel of the laptop there should be 3 or 4 screws, get the model number and searchf or that it wshould come up with results for you.

I did just searcha nd there is one listed on eBay here it looks like it may be external so you should be able to get the battery out by releaseing a catch. if you get the model number post it andI will see if I can find one.

There are a few on ebay but non of them state they are new so I would avoid them.

Most shops that sell them will be expensive though like this one £93.99

This is the reason I run my laptop on the mains all the time since the battery is screwed.

Your Advent is a rebadged ECS-331 without the TV card.
As LittleJohn posted, mdsbattery.co.uk is the best bet. The battery you get should be better than the original.
