Pranky and PTAS

Oh dear:

http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/parkingticketappeals-changes-hands.html

I was once before involved in a campaign against a perceived wrong that was so successful it made national news and raised huge sums of money to take the matter as far as the High Court. The campaign then disintegrated in a sh|t-storm of self-interest and personal animosities and is now all but dead, with former friends and allies now bitter enemies.

Smells like this one may be going the same way. Think I'll just stick to ploughing my own lonely furrow. The PPC's must be laughing their socks off.

  • Shame, one less string to our bow. I wonder if a closet ppc took over.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • PTAS is still working as normal and costing the "parking industry" a fortune. In the bigger picture whatever has happened has been a minor hiccup and the fight against the great parking scam will go on. There are many dedicated people who give up their time freely and that has not changed. All minds now are focused on the Beavis appeal, so let's wait to see how that turns out before ceding victory to the parking companies.

I just hope that whatever disagreements have happened behind the scenes can be sorted out and that we don't lose sight of the real enemy.

Life still goes on, PTAS still helps people beat PPCs and the dedicated volunteers fighting the vile industry will continue the valiant struggle.

I haven't ceded victory to anyone, as always I have several current ongoing battles of my own in the war against the scammers, but this certainly isn't helping with the bigger picture.
