Clydesdale bank credit card - online?

I just got a Clydesdale bank 0% purchases credit card. Not the best credit limit in the world at £3500.

I initially applied online but the whole process was quite old fashioned with lots of paperwork sent out to sign and return. I gave up trying to get an additional card fro my wife as that meant filling in more forms and taking 2 sets of id to a local Clydesdale branch which I am pretty sure don't exist round here.

Anyway, to m point of this post. I cannot see that it is possible to manage this card online. It appears Clydesdale do have online access for general banking but not for credit cards? Is this correct?

I feel as though I have gone back to the 1990's !!!

I have a weird Clydesdale charge card thing, which has to be paid in full every month. It does show up in my online banking though. Once you are registered all your accounts generally show with the one log-in, so you should be okay.

I don't know if the procedure has changed for enrolling, but it is quite convoluted. You need to sign up for telephone banking first before you can get access to online banking.

I just had to call them because I couldn't find how to register, only to be told this.

Feels very strange, "will have to check your statements" I was told. Never liked statements, huge waste of paper and always massively "out of date".

Nebulous2: Do you have a current account with them though? They said to me you can only do credit card online banking it if you have a current account with them so sounds like you don't have the same issue.

Yes I have a current account. The only possible reason I could think on for somebody to move to Clydesdale was for the £150 for opening a new account, so I assumed whoever I was replying too would have one as well.
