Girls are on a diet again, I noticed last night that their weight has been creeping up. 'Youngest' has fed them a few times and I think he's been giving them more than I do.
Do you weigh their food before giving it to them? Some of my guests come with a big tub of dry food, and I find it really helpful it the information sheet supplied tells me exactly how many ounces/grams to give them; it's much better than just saying "a cup of food" as I can measure it exactly on the kitchen scales and know they're getting the correct meal.:o

  • Evening all,

Had a lovely evening last night for DH's birthday. I can thoroughly recommend Paddington, it's funny, sad and a really good cast to boot! Enjoyed a lovely dinner at out local Brewers Fayre. I have to say I love their lamb shank :)

Weather has been sunny but it turned quite chilly late afternoon. Did the Aldi shop this morning and was very pleased to save the £10 using the coupon from the paper. The checkout lady told us that Aldi does this on the last Thursday of every month so I shall try to remember to get a paper early on this day!

Wrapped up a couple of shoeboxes full of bits for a local lady who takes them to the homeless in London on Christmas eve.

When I went to collect DS2 from work I noticed I have a large crack in my windscreen which just encroaches on my vision. I have claimed on the insurance, it's a bit miffing they can't do it until Wednesday though and it cost me £75!!!

Had an Aldi Honeyed Gammon for dinner tonight with veg etc, was very nice.

    Happy Saturday all.
