Hi, I have just installed SP 2 + Microsoft AntiSpyware +Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer + various windows updates. I have lost the help and support centre and the search facility. I am running Windows XP Home.
When I try to open the Help and support centre, I get the following message:
To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this programme.
Data Execution Prevention helps protect against damage from viruses and other security threats.
Can anyone help?

Thanks, for the links, the second one is very applicable as I am running an Athalon 64 processor. It seems as though I will have to manually configure DEP to add items when I find that they don't work.0
