I'm looking for some new tyres for Mrs G's SUV. I've done a few internet searches and Oponeo seems to be the cheapest delivered.
First question. Are Oponeo reliable?
Second question. Have I missed anyone cheaper?

Can recommend tyreleader.co.uk, great prices, delivered within 2-3 days from Germany - bought 2 sets of winter tyres this year from them and they were way cheaper than anyone else, especially UK based companies. i would have been happy to buy or order local, but the prices and service were simply not comparable to tyreleader and other european based companies.
It is a bit more awkward when things go wrong though - although a credit card purchase will still cover you under S75.0 -

That's what worries me about Oponeo. Aren't they based in Outer Mongolia or somewhere?0 -
Its only awkward as tyreleader don't have anEnglish speaking admin department and their email response isn't always great. Their delivery company is DPD, who are excellent in our area and I have had great service from them and will use again. I did see one or two reviews where things had gone wrong - tyres wrong size or similar - and getting it corrected was a pain, but there were really only a few. For the massive savings on my tyres, it was worth it. Buy on credit card and you are covered, anyway.
I think oponeo is a German based company as well.0 -
Oponeo are Polish. Very reliable. I've used them umpteen times. I think the UK delivery is handled by DPD.The man without a signature.0

Have personally used Oponeo, Tyreleader, Mytyres, Camskills, Tyremen more than once each, and have never had a moments problem with any of them.
When comparing remember that Camskills charge £2.99 delivery per tyre, the rest are IIRC free del.
Camskills often cheapest, but not such a large range, if in stock they are a day or two faster delivery, but the longest i've had to wait is a week from any of them.0 -
Using Tyreleader for the first time at the moment as they were a fiver a corner (inc delivery) cheaper than Camskill and a couple of quid cheaper than others i checked.
DPD tracking seems to have them stuck in Holland somewhere just now.0 -
Check your local independant tyre place. When you add fitting it maybe just as cheap as ordering online.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

The car is going in for a full set of wheels to be swapped under warranty. As the tyres on it are getting low on tread, I thought it a good opportunity to switch tyres at the same time.0 -
Like G&S (above) I've used several mail order suppliers and never had a problem. These days I use tyreleader. I don't actually like buying from a German business rather than a domestic one, but the savings are significant.0
