All my customers know I'm a one-man band and I have no problem with that, but that's very interesting thanks, I might look into it
I use Flextel, who I've had no problems with, but there are dozens of providers of virtual phone numbers and associated services.

I've had a read through their t&c's and if you have a personal number your protection is less. That said it'd appear there may have been a failing there end, and I'm unsure as of to their liability.
5.4 If You are not a Consumer, We are not liable to You in any way for any loss or damage that was not
reasonably foreseeable at the time You entered this Agreement. This includes but is not limited to loss of
income; business; anticipated savings (meaning costs You expected to avoid by using Equipment or Services)
or anticipated profits, loss of property or loss of use of property.
