Things to do for a non skier in Sestriere

I'm off with the family to Sestriere and I wont be skiing as I will be looking after my little boy.

Been trying to find information on what there is to do for non skiers and struggling a little bit.

We may try cross country skiing and would welcome some information on where the best place to go swimming is.

Also, restaurant recommendations.
