I bought my hubbie a Timberland wallet in TK Maxx this week £19.99, really pleased with it and I'm sure he will be too :)

  • I'd just like to thank those who suggested looking in TKMaxx on this thread.

My son is 15 today, and yesterday he mentioned that he would like a new wallet for his birthday. I was going to give him cash, as he couldn't decide before now what he wanted.

To cut a long story short, I remembered seeing this thread. Last night, we managed to find a good quality leather wallet, with coin section, for £9.99 in TKMaxx. My son is very happy with it. I wouldn't have thought to look in there, as it is a shop that I don't usually go into.

So thanks to those who recommended it.

After suggesting it on here and unable to find the exact wallet that I was looking for, I have decided to use a voucher that I have and get the one from Argos, I'll get it for £1.49

Don't forget to put some money in it
  • Think about what he does for a living too ... My husband drives all day so a popper fastening wallet is a big no go as its incomfortable to sit on .....

  • When I bought my man one the only thing he was particularly pleased about was that I had managed to get one with a coin pouch in it- apparently it's annoying not to have anywhere to keep change so that could be my only tip. Happy shopping!
  • Thank you to everyone who replied (my phone was on the blink :( ) I had several wallets lined up for him to look at last week at TK's, I arranged to meet him in town and lo and behold he went and bought one before I got into town!! :wall: he's happy with what he picked so I'm getting him a work watch (just something cheap) ...wish me luck... :snow_laug
