Boyfriends Birthday Present...

Hello,
I am so stuck and don't know what to get my boyfriend! His birthday is in December.
He got me a hugeee bouquet of flowers sent to my home (we don't live together) for my birthday a few months ago. That's all he got me, which isn't a bad thing.
The budget is £40-80.
I was thinking 2 football game tickets to see his favourite team (Arsenal). Is that a good idea? Anyone know where I can buy these from?
I was originally thinking of getting a cake sent to his house, themed a hobbie that he likes, but I don't know whether thats more of a good idea for when we get married etc as he lives by himself so he wouldn't be able to finish it.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

sounds like a good present, although you might have to sit through the match too!0 -
I would go with the football tickets. If you google 'arsenal tickets', plenty of options show up. Though, I've no idea where is the cheapest but I'm sure someone else will know.
I find it really hard also to pick for my partner. In the past, I've bought him various leather wallets, a few nice watches (all now lost), shirts, multitools, gadgets that he never really looks at, books etc. He seemed to most appreciate the selection of 12 bottles of red wine I bought him last year.
At least if your guy is into football, you have something to go on.0 -
I think experiences rather than 'stuff' (other than food and flowers) nearly always makes better presents.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

You may struggle to get two tickets for £80, Arsenal are the most expensive in the league. Another idea might be a stadium tour, the website will have details.I can offer no resistance, I can offer no respite

Wake me up when the fury is ended

As the wife of an Arsenal fan, I can say it will be nearly impossible to get tickets! You have to be a member of the fan club and even then they only offer a small amount of tickets to the different levels of membership. You may be able to get tickets via another route, i.e., second-hand from someone.
I would second the suggestion of a stadium tour though, I know someone who did the Liverpool one and really enjoyed it.
One like this would be good, where an ex-player shows you round:

If he has a games console you could get him a game.0

You could get a Ticket Master voucher, so he could choose an event, but of course, vouchers always say the price.
Does he like a drink? One of the best gifts my sons have enjoyed is a trip round a brewery / distillery / vineyard or vinopolis wine tasing.0 -
My OH is a mad Chelsea fan and I bought him the stadium tour and he loved it ... For £80 you would be lucky to get one ticket for Arsenal ! If not how about a football shirt? If you can’t look on the bright side,
I will sit with you in the dark0 -
I was looking into this for my West Brom fan of an OH - on ebay they sell vintage metal badges for football teams. Fairly inexpensive but quite cool - maybe one of those and something from the club shop?
I bought OH a really nice jumper the other year, looked like an ordinary jumper but had the club badge on it.Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

As others have said, for your budget tickets to the Emirates is out of range even if they were available.
I'm not sure where you live but in some areas of the country you might be able to get home tickets for when Arsenal are playing away but that's not really advisable and may not be on sale yet anyway so you couldn't get them for his birthday.0
