Another day, another £multi-million fine being dished out.

And then people wonder why our energy bills are still so high, despite the price of oil (which is used to set the price of gas) dropping like a stone.

    We don't wonder, we know.

Repeated Industry fines and stupid promises by the Labour party to "freeze prices" - awesome, just when they should have been going down!

Who gets the fine money and what do they do with it?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

More to the point is who ultimately pays the fine.

If it comes out of the company's shareholders funds then that is as it should be but if it is just passed back to consumers to pay then it's just a time- and money-wasting merry-(sic)-go-round.

If we confiscate the properties of senior executives, they will just pay themselves more to buy another one. Amputate their limbs, and they can re-attach them.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are right, HYDRA does exist.
  • This whole Labour/ EU produced CCA approach is daft

Next they will be shutting down perfectly good coal fired generating capacity
  • And who ends up paying the fine? You do, it is added to your bill.
