Non - grabbit - asos

Had an email from ASOS saying it's Cyberweekend - grab 20% off everything. my DD who loves this site wakes me up to say quick, that order that was delivered last weekend, lets reorder it all and get 20% off, and send the first parcel back. Great idea I think ( she's so money saving expert) and so we sit down with a coffee and start to trace our order from a week ago.

I'm really shocked to find that out of 8 items , 7 have now got inflated prices over and above the 20% they are saying you can get off now, making them more expensive this week than they were last weekend, and the boots I bought which are the same price - well guess what - they're out of stock.

Usually I love ASOS, they don't quibble about returns, they deliver on time, they have a good choice and so have used them frequently but this is what's commonly called lying to the public!!!!! someone needs to point out to the MD there that his business is always offering some discount off one range or another, they look like they have fire sales left right and centre, and stupid tricks like this weekends little game puts the customer off completely!!!

Rant over....

Ok it's not lying, but it's dishonest practices and personally I find it annoying when stores do it. I will think worse of asos from seeing this post

But that is exactly what the OP said:
...that order that was delivered last weekend, lets reorder it all and get 20% off, and send the first parcel back.

OP is a massive hippocritte basically. Don't know how someone can ramble on about dishonest practices and stupid tricks. Yet openly admit to underhand tactics like sending an order back and reordering again due to a 'sale'.

But I wasn't talking about THAT, I was commenting on the sale practices, which is what I quoted from keyser. I really wish people could hold onto a thread in a conversation
