There is also a third generation iPad mini 3. However, I believe the hardware for iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2 are nearly identical. The only difference is that iPad mini 3 has a touch ID (a fingerprint scanner).
So I would suggest that you buy iPad mini 2. I found a manufacturer refurbished version here. It has the same warranty as buying brand new.0 -
The wifi-only option is currently out of stockHandsome90 wrote: »So I would suggest that you buy iPad mini 2. I found a manufacturer refurbished version here. It has the same warranty as buying brand new.

But I agree in the suggestion of going for an Apple-refurbished iPad.0 -
iPad 2 benefits from the A7 chip which will make it more capable now and in the future.
Today, John Lewis are selling them for just £10 more than the Apple refurb' site, which, as has been pointed out, is currently out of stock. JL also give a 2 year guarantee.0 -
The Mini 2 also has the Retina Display..... I know everything about iPads now...as my pesky girlfriend has been bothering me about it for ages now.
So Mini 2 it is.0
