Afternoon everyone
Seem to have been busy doing lots of little things these past couple of days. It's DH's birthday today and he has booked for us to go and watch Paddington. I have to say I am so excitedI'm taking him for dinner after, so it should be a lovely evening (if he doesn't fall asleep at the cinema).
Snoozer - Hope your biopsy went well and everything is ok.
Have a good evening all x0 -
Thanks busiscoming, it was fine - I have a couple of stitches but it's still numb at the moment. Results in 6 weeks, the worry is that because I seem to have developed skin allergies to metal that my mouth might be reacting to the metal fillings in it.0

snoozer if the results are in six weeks it means that they don't think that it is cancer, I know because I had one done a couple of months agoBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon everyone, we didn't go shopping anywhere today, instead DD and I took that Zebra to a local garden centre just to look and he woke up just as we were going through the christmas section with glittery decorations and lots of twinkling lights, his littleface was a picture of wide eyed amazement and better still when we went out to where the real christmas trees were sold they had real reindeer in a pen so tame that they came and put their noses through the bars and nuzzled his little feet, Oh my word, his smile was golden and he crowed in utter delight, magical!!!0

Aw, that sounds lovely MrsLW! I had been toying with the idea of going into the shopping centre today but all the hype put me off! DH went off to work but came back again an hour later as there had been an accident so he couldn't get through.
So I have put a casserole in slow cooker, organized the advent calendar - it's a homemade one of decorated envelopes, so I had to fill them ready to be put up on Sunday. Also made a door sign for younger DS, he wants a new one for Christmas to go on his bedroom door. Also made cauli cheese, put my jolly red tablecloth on the kitchen table, and DS13 and I made mince pies.
I had a parcel to collect so timed it so I could give DS16 and a couple of mates a lift home from school, it saves him 30 mins on the bus and he's not too well at the moment.0 -

Lyn it sounds as though you had a lovely time with the Zebra child, was DD able to take a photograph?
Candlelightx0 -
No, she was just as taken with the reindeer as he was and my phone is a phone for an idiot, it only does phone calls and texts!!! It was lovely to see them both though, and very difficult to not see DD as the same age as Zebra too!!!0
-
Exactly the same as my phone Lyn, my brain wouldn't be able to cope with anything more complicated
Is he very much like his Mum was at that age?
Candlelightx0 -
No but he is the absolute double of DD1, there are photos of her which could be photos of him too, isn't genetics an interesting area?0
