Rejected CC

Options
Hi,

Looking for help.

Applied for a 0% CC to transfer £9k CC debt (some BAD financial decisions over the past few years).

However I just got rejected for a 0% deal.

Not sure why, a few months back my CC limit on my spending card (use for work expenses) was late in the payment, my fault - totally forgot and I instantly had the credit limit reduced by a £3K. This is the only thing I think that has been negative. Seemed harsh from TSB but not the end of the world as I only use it occasionally.

Now I am nervous about applying for another 0% deal, but don't want saddled with high interest and want out of this debt over the next 2-3 years. Honestly feel sick to my stomach at the thought of paying £150 per month in CC interest :(

Many thanks

  • The combination of late payment, high debt and presumably high debt to limit ratio will probably have been enough.

    what's your income?

what are you existing debts details?

Your unlikely to be offered a £9k+ credit card limit from most credit card providers these days, not as a brand new customer. (Even with a very good credit history, which you admit you don't have)

You could try looking at your credit files from the appropriate credit agencies to see if there is any indication on them you don't recognise (or remember)
