Just counted up my pot $463.80 had to stop the puppy eating some of the notes and the cat enjoyed rolling in the coins... But I eventually got it counted.

I'm really pleased with that and it just goes to show that I CAN save....I'm hoping for even more next Year!!


I'm putting the odd 18p back in the Pot for next Year as it's all coppers....

I've counted up and the grand total is £142.28!!!!!!! Not bad for a very late starter! I'm actually declaring £133 as the rest couldn't be bagged; I didn't quite have enough of any denomination so I've put the rest into the pot for next year. Thanks to Sue for the thread and everyone else for having me, so glad you lot encouraged me to begin saving this year. That is enough money to enable DH to cover essential bills for a week and will mean he can take a week off with the kids at Christmas stress free (well financially anyway lol).

In other news my DD has PASSED her driving test this morning!!!!! 1st time and we're over the moon!! :j :T
