Hi all Potters! I hope you've all had a really lovely week or not too bad a one at least, if not then let's hope the weekend is!
Take care, everyone, and love and {{{hugs}}} to all those poorly or who aren't feeling too great in any other way at present.
Thanks for your thoughts, Lynne, things are still a bit up and down, much as you'd expect with a newly diagnosed illness I guess, but we're getting there thanks. You too with that foot I hope? BTW, it often goes quiet during summer months with folk on holiday or gardening etc.Do you think we "potters" should enter for next years Eurovision contest?? Can't do much worse than the last few years!!
Lynsey
Can you imagine us...all in fine fettle...the crowd on their feet begging us for more...us with our pots in hand telling them to make it worth it then!!!!! :rotfl: Thanks for the laptop wishes, Lynsey, off to Taunton today so here's hoping! This b****r is soooooo darned slow - when it goes!!!
Brilliant saving, Hope, your pot will be proud of you.

Promise to try harder in June.
We'll hold you to that, NobodysChild, bearing in mind though that we all suffer from the leaner month syndrome.
Well done, Hicks, and I hope your little treasure's doing well, bless him.
Excellent saving, Kerry! Thanks for updating your siggy and keep up the great work. :jToday I went to bingo with some friends -never been before but it was a groupon deal- I won back exactly the amount I'd paid to play! So I've potted it as I wasn't expecting to have it.
I hope you had a lovely time in Majorca, Chutney, with good weather. Good saving.
That was good of your DH, scotmumof3, I hope he's well and that you're feeling better now?VickyA wrote:Noticed that they've put in one of those coin counter machines in our local supermarket. Now I know they charge a fee, but I read the small print (thinking it would be about 3 - 5%) and it was actually 8.9%. Obviously I wouldn't consider using it - what's the bank for???! - but working out that I'd saved £130+ last SPC so the amount I'd have lost using a machine like that would be £11.50  Horrific!!!
It takes some believing eh, Vicky, extortionate prices  - but great savings by canny folk like us in NOT USING THEM!!!!!! :T
I noticed your post, Modesty, and hope things will be ok for you re the MRI. Take care...and keep saving. Still trying to get my head round your taxi v bus costs...amazing!!
Whatever your smallish win is, 32b3, it's brilliant news as....it's free!!!!! :j Enjoy saving it or using it for something you need/want.
Very well done with your sales, chickadee!
Excellent work, Seaotter, you did do well.
Lost - that is an amazing amount saved, GREAT WORK!!!!!! :T
£12 potted after shopping and 2p roadkill.Have a fantastic WEEKEND, Potters! Don't let your pots get hungry! :j

Evening Everyone

Sorry I have been absent from the Thread for a while....Not really had a lot to say.....Things are getting better slowly....Even went for a Swim on Friday but then had a Swimsuit Malfunction...LoL....Have ordered a new one now and it should be here in time for me to get another Swim in on Friday again....and then I'm hoping to go 3 times a week to start with the Exercise again...and hopefully that will make me feel better all round....
Lots of silver potting going on....but today managed a £5 note, £5 x £1 coins and some silver...so I'm REALLY pleased with that!!
Sue....I know things must be difficult right now....but I hope you're okay and that things settle down once you all get used to the Diagnosis and how to deal with it....*Hugs*....
*Hugs* to anyone else that needs it...xXx

Would you like to reveal more??
Or did you reveal too much anyway??
Last day of May (thanks God) and hope "Flaming June" lives up to it's name. Supposedly a heat-wave on it's way??
If June is as bad as May (weather-wise), then I could be looking at a cheap last minute break abroad!!
May has been a good enough potting month though, so not all bad!! I'm hoping to hit my "target" in June and surprised really as I haven't really focussed as much this year - it has been much more relaxed. Little by little and regular surely works for myself.
Maybe, just maybe, I'll get that "GRAND" again?? It's not a target though..................... yet.
Sorry for the "waffle", but potted 2 x £1 coins.

LoL Lynsey....well I noticed a while ago that I had a small hole in my Swimsuit....thought it would be okay for a little longer as I didn't really want to spend £20 on a new one....then I went Swimming on Friday and the little hole, ahem, got bigger!!
LoL....Let's just say that I was lucky I managed to just about preserve my modesty...and only just!! It's a good job I can laugh at myself!!
Have ordered a new one now....Should be here by Midweek I hope and so I can go back to Swimming safe and sound without fear of people seeing bits of me that they shouldn't!! LoL
Nothing to Pot today....not been out,, not going out...Hopefully can pot something tomorrow....
