Potted the change from my purse in small pot and 3 £1 coins and a five pound note in regular pot. Also 3 x £2 coins in my 50th birthday pot.
Happy potting. I just accumulated change and was paid £5 from a flea bay sale so popped it all in.
Not be very regular with my potting but lots to sell on Fb should bump up my pots a bit.

Skintandscared - Welcome to the challenge. Sue will give you a number. All useful information about the challenge can be found on the first page. Enjoy saving.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130 -
Thank you
I have already requisitioned a few pound coins off OH to put in the pot, but I have (as yet) to get a sealed pot - And the frugaller in me completely REFUSES to buy one! :rotfl: So I'll be hunting around the house later and making my own one (in the spirit of saving!).
I'll be saving in only £1, £2 coins or notes, as my mini-scrimpers are having all my change at the minute to save up for our holiday spending money.
Best of luck to everyone xxCC #1 = £0/£200.

Welcome Skintandscared,
Please while you are waiting for Sue to allocate you a challenge number, have a read of page one as it gives you all the information about the challenge and the date we are all opening our pots.
Dont get pulled into the magical pot to put your coins in, you can make your pot out of anything, after all its not very MSE to buy a pot because you want to save - if you want to get one, then please do but don't feel obliged, many people use ice cream tubs, coffee containers, and some like me use the post terramundi pots, (I have a big one that will take me years and years to fill....
good luck with the challenge and welcome to the party, go go coin collecting just like Mario and Luigi did in the 90's...
