Graduated but still getting money.

Hi.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I graduated September 2013, just checked my bank account and student finance have transferred £850 into my account......
Anyone had this happen to them ?
Thing is they have been contacting me for more evidence over the past 6 months saying I owe them money until they have evidence. We have now sent off all the evidence and I was wondering if maybe they found out they underpaid me ???
Also what are the consequences if I use the money (I won't but what if) and they wanted it back because it was a mistake ? Would they allow me to pay in installments because it's their fault ?
How does that work ?
Thanks for any advice !!!

I think you'll have to call them to ask what the money is, and repay it if it's a mistake. And don't be tempted to spend it until you know for sure that you can - that fact that you even bring this up suggests that it's something that you're considering.0

You are obviously considering spending the money which is never a good idea if you can't afford to pay it back in the same way it was paid to you...in one payment. You need to ring them otherwise you will find yourself with a debt that you could of avoided.0

What legal grounds would you not keep this money0
