Halifax changing interest rate mid term

Ignore this, I've now spoken to customer services.
There's a letter coming out stating that they are changing the way they calculate their interest, from a standard SVR to an SVR + 0.5% bank base rate from 26th February 2015.
If you have a 0% deal this remains in place and the interest rate changes will only affect you once your 0% deal ends and you go onto the SVR (or move to the next card!)
