Parking prankster blog -the mythical M Scwarts? Co-Opperative group liability?

The parking prankster has recently blogged about the activies of Debt Enforcement and Action ltd (DEAL) and the apparent Solicitor M Schwarts.
here http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/mr-m-shwarts-does-not-appear-to-be.html

which ends with this
Otherwise, this report details that Wonga had to pay £2.6 million for sending letters from fake solicitor firms.

Most of the Civil Enforcement/DEAL cases appear to stem from Co-Op car parks who contract/contracted CE to monitor their car parks.
If we go up the principal/agent route then the buck stops with the Co-Op.
What are the chances of the Co-Op being much deservedly dragged into this in a similar way to the Wonga scandal ?
From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Wonga were directly involved in the scam ... Coop are tangentially involved so it's not quite the same.

A poster over on CAG recently received this from the SRA:-

We have been made aware that some individuals have received County Court Claim forms signed by a Mr M Shwarts purporting to be a Solicitor.

A number of examples have been forwarded to our Fraud Intelligence Unit who have confirmed that this is a scam and have therefore asked that you discard this accordingly.

A further communication will be posted on our website in due course.

Thank you for contacting the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Yes but since then people have had a correction which says they should still defend as it's a real court claim, just with a questionable signature.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How can it be a real court claim then? Would signing a claim "M. Mouse" also be acceptable to HMCTS?
    Je suis Charlie.
  • Well, I've signed claims T/As before...
  • What's needed is for someone going through the court process to get this in writing from the SRA. If CEL/DEAL are stupid enough to take it all the way they can be hammered by Their Honours.

    Not gonna happen though.
