Microbore pipe coming to the surface
I have just bought a house about 30 - 40 years old with microbore heating.
I am decorating the living room and having removed the wall paper I can see a section of microbore central heating pipe coming to the surface and the plastic insulation is cracking away.
I obviously need to get it chased back into the wall somehow. As it is obviously very close to the surface should I insert an insulation sheet at the same time.
Do I need a builder or a central heating engineer?
I need to find a cheap fix as money is tight after buying the house.
Thanks.
