bacs transfer

in Budgeting & bank accounts
need some help.

got let go from my job last wednesday. got told id have my wages sent over by bacs he said he sent them friday night.
im aware it takes 3 working days im now on thursday and still no sign in my account. what can i do?

    Speak to your previous employer.

    Do you know what time on Friday it was processed, how sure are you it was a bacs payment and not a FP?

    If it was bacs and it was sent after the deadline on Friday then it wouldn't have been processed until Monday, which means it could arrive on Friday.

    If its not then quite clearly your previous employer has not paid you and is fobbing you off.

    yes bacs was sent at 8.00 friday night so i will wait till tommorw if not in then any idea what i can do about the bacs hes give me reference code for it thats it.

    Forget BACS references etc just take a statement of account to show your ex employer that the wages have not arrived and ask politely for a faster payment or CHAPS payment immediately.
