Visting my local store to buy some oil they stated a price that was higher than on line and free delivery - when challenged I had to use my smartphone in store - order on line and place 'clicck and collect' as the preferred option - 5 litres of oil retailing at £39.95 or walk in cost £23.95 plus vat - was ordered on line - click and collect when stood in the store for £19.95 yes I had to wait 5 minutes but dramatic saving - apparently this is normal activity for Euro Car parts check on line for 50% discount on many items - PS oil was special specific to vehicle and was cheapest anywhere and is normally delivered by UPS free of charge for £18.50 so paying £1 more on demand was fine but if they are charging £19.50 delivered that makes the item even cheaper !! :T

Yep, often good prices and free delivery.
Also a 3 hour wait at counter on each visit gets a bit annoying.
Sometimes their ebay store is cheaper still.
I recently got some Meguiars sealant and shampoo cheaper there than anywhere else on the net.0 -
Standard for ECP.0

The other little known tip with ECP is that they are obsessed with monthly sales. I always check their prices on the last few days of the month and often get a bargain on servicing parts for future use.0

They're cheap online and on eBay, BUT their major drawback is they use UPS for delivery.
UPS will not leave parcels with neighbours or in a secure location and you can only change the delivery address after their first delivery attempt.
They don't specify a time, so when you change the address (to work address for example) you have to hope and pray they turn up when somebody is actually there, so on a Friday when my work closes at 3pm, will UPS turn up before or after this time?
They only attempt delivery twice, if you miss the second one you have to go pick up your parcel from their depot (which is 50 miles away).
Basically it's a lot of f**king about and hassle if your not at home all day (like most people must be, according to UPS).
They also have two eBay stores, prices can differ between them for the same parts. After the hassle with UPS the first time, I made a point of using a different eBay seller for a about £1 more, who also turned out to be ECP...
They're usually pretty good, it's just UPS's inflexibility that causes problems.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I'm not 100%, but must have had stuff left with neighbours or on doorstep - have had many bits and pieces off them in the last year, and work full time. Never had to collect or have a redelivery.
I was surprised when my first order, a £2 item, turned up by ups, thought their vans would deliver whilst out and about - have a store a mile up the road.0 -
^^ I have a lockable cupboard (requires a key to open once closed/locked) and UPS refuse to use it, even though there are clear instructions on the wall next to it. The instructions even have a "thank you" with my initials and a big smiley face, a big smiley face!!!!! How can they live with themselves after ignoring a big smiley face!?!? :rotfl::rotfl:“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
