The cutlery basket in my dishwasher has broken all along the bottom, so things fall through and stop the arm spinning. Any suggestions what i can use to fix it, something hard wearing and waterproof, but will let the water spray through to clean?

Would it not be easier to buy a new/used one, can see loads on amazon and ebay for £4 or £5. There are some on ebay starting at 99p.0

There's, being MSE and there's, just being mean. They are quite cheap to replace. Not worth the hassle of trying to repair.hampshirebabe wrote: »The cutlery basket in my dishwasher has broken all along the bottom, so things fall through and stop the arm spinning. Not a problem. Measure the one you have and look on line for one of that size. The dimensions will normally be stated on the website. Or, it will say what machines the tray will fit. I actually got mine from the Hotpoint spares dept.I can afford anything that I want.

I've just found one that will fit for £11 on amazon, but the reviews say it'll last less than a year. I dont count that MSE or good for the landfill problems. I'll stick eith trying fix my original.0
