yes they are one of the 1st places I look for accommodation, along with monarch hotels.
They have always been fab and we have only once had trouble, and it was beg of this year, when a bed brooker went bust, I panicked, this was in march and we was only going in the sept, I rang sunshine and they said please bear with us, we have people who are on holiday now and people who are due to go in the next few days who we have to sort out...
which is fair enough.
About 4 weeks later I received a phone call from them saying that they had managed to re-book our accommodation with a new provider and would send us out a new accommodation voucher, which they did.
I would highly recommend them.
It is horses for courses, lots of people use them with no problems, and don't post good reviews, but the ones who have trouble usually come onto forums to complain, nothing wrong in that.
Loads of people use alpharooms I used them twice, 1st time overbooked and they tried to tell me the hotel was shut, funny the week before I had been in the hotel to see which room I wanted to stay in, eventually they admitted they had lied, and gave me different acommodaion, in the area I wanted, took a lot of backwards and forwards phonecalls, 2nd time tried to give them a go, got to the hotel and no booking...so I was put in their sister hotel, which was nowhere as good as what I had booked.
So I would not use them again, but many people have used alpharooms and had good experience with them.0
