Mine arrived last week. It looks really good in a WWI brass shell vase with dried seed heads etc. The vase is a family heirloom, but if you google it, there are loads online so you can see what I mean & maybe pick one up at auction?0

My Mum has asked me to make a little display out of hers (along with the booklet that came with it etc) to get framed. I imagine it'll cost a fortune to get the frame made but it'll look good!

I have seen online several different ways of displaying them...google ceramic poppy display and lots of different solutions come up....various prices but it might give you a creative thought.
How about a tall vase with some sand in the bottom...or there are little perspex boxes...
There are also companies that are selling deep frames for them
I must admit we ordered 2 for family members and please dont shoot me down when I say I was a little underwhelmed by the dirty poppies with vey corroded sticks that arrived.
I did however think that the box they were packed in was very good!!!
I didnt go to see them at the tower and am more than happy to give to the cause but it seemed that my 2 have certainly been exposed to the elements before they arrived.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Hadn't they all been exposed to the elements? Though its a shame they are that badly corroded.
Yes a heavy vase would look good - a bit expensive I should think to have a custom made frame.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
