What are they like?

Apparently I can save £70 switching to them from edf.

I've had no troubles with edf so not sure whether to switch or not.

  • I've found EON very good.

You get a relationship manager with EON, and he is always very quick to get back to you etc.

The only small downside I would say is I've been awaiting the paperwork since June and it's not arrived.

Nevertheless, very professional and helpful :)
  • I am with EoN. Whilst i have not been with any other provider I do find the customer service pretty good. I believe its been awarded the best?

I like their website with lots of useful things including submitting meter readings and direct debit manager. I can set it to what ever I want. It re-calculates it based on every time I submit readings.

There is also an EoN rep on this site who is very good at answering question. Really quick!

How badly do you need £70 quid?

I'm also a fan of Eon. They seem to be one of the Big 6 that's got it right. The customer support (including numerous reps on here) and website are very good.

I left EON about 3 years ago but only because an EDF deal was so much better than anything EON could offer me at the time - found their website easy to use and useful.
Now returning to EON -hopefully the experience will be as good as before.
I second the comment about EON reps on this forum -usually helpful with their advice.....and nearly always around, as a contrast with other utility companies who have no meaningful presence on MSE.

They have a habit of wanting to change my DDs too much too often but I can always talk them out of it. I have it set up so they email me when new tariffs come out.

    Overall they're fine.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Thanks folks, seems pretty decent then. I'll have to start the switching process. £100 better off in my wallet with cash back.
