I've recommended this before - Jess nailpolish from Poundland. Loads of colours and doesn't shift on my nails with a clear top coat.0

I bought some glitter top coat from Poundland. That stayed on for over 2 weeks in fact, trying to shift the stuff with nail polish remover didn't work. I ended up putting fresh polish on top (interesting effect) then peeling it off when I got bored. Evidently a layer of PVA glue underneath makes glitter polish easier to remove.
Nancy's Nails scented top coat (as seen on Channel 4's doco abt Liberty on Wednesdays) is great, keeps my nail polish fresh & unchipped and when the scent wears off I re-apply. So far only available from Liberty £15 tho. (Many of my coloured polishes are from Poundland tho)0 -
I find Avon's range really good. The worst I used was Nails Inc. Appalling for the price.0

Don't forget to 'cap' the free edge which makes it harder to chip

Models Own is good for me. I recently got 6 for £20 from their pop up shop in the local shopping centre.0
