£2000 saving

I have £2000 of savings that I would like to continue saving and make money on. Can anyone advise me what would be my best option? I may need to get access to the money...

Thank you!

TSB Classic Plus current account. Pays 5% before tax on balances up to £2000 so long as you accept paperless statements and can pay in £500 a month (which you can take straight back out again).

    Try a TSB current account?

You need to pay in £500 a month but it can be in and out in seconds using faster payment.

Combine with a Halifax reward account and you'll get around 8% equivalent interest.

Beats any cash ISA for £2000 savings.

Since you've already got £2000, you may prefer to start with a Nationwide Flexdirect also 5% but with room for a further £500.

...but if you go this way, since the Nationwide FlexDirect is 12 months only, make sure you also get a TSB Plus now, as you never know when it'll be pulled for new customers!
