Joining Worktops

Hi All
Looking at installing the Ikea worktops, which are 2.8cm thickness.
The kitchen fitter I've spoken to is concerned that when he tries to join these, there isn't a sufficient depth to allow him to fit the bolts to join two, together, on the corner.
Any hints or ideas most welcome
Thanks in advance

These are still thick enough to accommodate the bolts, just don't go quite as deep with them, not an issue and is regularly done.0

Agree with Reece...........You could use zipbolts which aren't as thick as standard worktop connector bolts.

If possible I would go for 38mm worktop, 28mm looks pants and looks terrible on a long run of units.0
